Use the pipe and cable detector to check that there are no hidden pipes and cables in the area where you want the shelf to be. Make sure to slowly move the detector back and forth on the wall in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

If you fix the shelf to the column wall, use the column detector to find a pair of vertical columns behind the gypsum board. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.

After checking that there are no pipes and cables, if necessary, find a pair of wooden pegs to fix the first shelf bracket in place. Make sure it is up in the correct way and there are screw holes at the bottom.

Mark the top of the bracket on the wall. Then, mark the location of the two screw holes.

Measure and mark the top position and screw position of the second shelf bracket. To avoid sloping shelves, always use a level to ensure that the two top marks are completely level.

On the stud wall, you can now hold the two supports in place by passing the screws through the drywall and inserting the wooden studs at the back.

On the masonry wall, use masking tape to mark the length of the wall plug on the masonry drill bit.

Then, using the "hammer" setting, drill the screw holes to the marked depth.

Plug in the wall plugs and make sure they do not stick out of the wall. Then screw the two brackets to the wall.

Finally, follow the manufacturer's instructions to slide the shelf into place and fix it to the bracket from the bottom.

After checking that there are no pipes and cables, if necessary, find a pair of wooden pegs and fix the first bracket in place with the long side against the wall. Use a spirit level to check if the top of the stand is level.

Mark the position of the top of the bracket on the wall. Then, mark the position of the screw hole.

Measure and mark the top position and screw position of the second bracket. To avoid tilting the shelf, use a spirit level to ensure that the two top marks are completely level.

On the stud wall, you can now hold the two brackets in place by passing the screws through the drywall and inserting the wooden studs at the back.

For masonry walls, use masking tape to mark the length of the wall plug on the masonry drill bit.

Then, using the "hammer" setting, drill the screw holes to the marked depth.

Plug in the wall plugs and make sure they do not stick out of the wall. Then screw the two brackets to the wall. Once safe, please double check that they are level.

Place the shelf in the center on the bracket, and then mark at the bottom of the shelf where the screws that fix the shelf to the horizontal arms of the two brackets are located.

Remove the shelf and drill short pilot holes on the markings on the bottom of the shelf. Be careful not to drill directly through it.

Finally, place the shelf on the bracket and fix it with screws.
